Five Quick Snaps

SF Giants, Giants Game

I wouldn’t call myself a sports fan. On the contrary, I historically yelled “Go Giants!” during the excitement of the 49ers playing in the Superbowl. Oops. But strangely enough, I’ve grown to truly love baseball over the past few years. With my office mere steps away from AT&T Park, it’s hard not to catch baseball fever. I have a hard time getting behind wearing orange (#sorryimnotsorry), but I definitely get into the team spirit. Jim’s happy enough to have a break from the fashion-y events that speckle our calendar, so everybody wins.

P.S. Did you know that there’s a little Irish Pub inside AT&T Park? Bass and Guinness FTW!

Two // Yep, that’s a selfie. I couldn’t resist—how often do I wrangle Jim into a suit? The two of us stepped out in black tie on our 4th anniversary, which coincided wonderfully with the SF Opera BRAVO! Club Gala. Even though I can’t say that I’ve made an opera fan out of Jim, the night was truly magical, with delicious food, tasty drinks, and the opportunity to meet some fabulous new friends (I’m looking at you, Hadley!).

Dirty Habit SF

Three // A scene at Dirty Habit, AKA my new obsession. I’ve waxed poetic time and time again about my love of rooftop and garden bars, and this newly revamped hotspot in Hotel Palomar doesn’t disappoint. The drinks are delicious, the ambiance is lovely, and the al fresco setting (complete with heat lamps) is perfect for San Francisco.

Jane Fillmore SF

Four // I try to mix up my routine from time to time, but somehow I find myself gravitating to brunch at Jane over and over again. Not only is is the perfect spot for a boot photoshoot or stylish pondering, it’s tasty, easy, and run by some of the most interesting people in the city. Just don’t try to take my favorite table.

Jeremy's Department Store SF

Five // Speaking of obsessions, I have to mention Jeremy’s. It used to be a legendary place far, far from my apartment, but now that I work a blog away, I’m a certified “regular.” Whether that’s a good thing or bad thing remains to be seen. My last two visits yielded a last-minute black tie gown (for said gala mentioned above) and a pair of Helmut Lang leather pants (80% off, thankyouverymuch). Whatever you need, they have it, and on the cheap(ish).
